We’re talking today about Short Term Goal Setting. When I say short term, I’m talking about a week, a month, or even a few months. In my strategic view, anything less than a year is short term. Setting short term goals will be a huge boost to your progress and your confidence, as you achieve these goals you will be reinforcing and building your internal fire, drive, and self-confidence. I recommend that you set short term goals based on three time categories. These categories are weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Goals should ALWAYS be clear, specific, and time driven as well as actually achievable. To make it easier, I’m going to break down my system for short term goal setting into 7 steps that anyone can use. These steps are: Choose a Time Category, Write It Down, Be More Specific, Set A Date, Set A Priority Level, Schedule Time, and Be Accountable.
